Kubota weighs new materials shipping routes to avoid Hormuz closure

OSAKA, Japan — Japanese machine maker Kubota is considering alternative procurement routes, including through the Red Sea, for plastics to get around the de facto closure of the Strait of Hormuz, executives said at the company’s general shareholders meeting on Thursday.
