Registration for the Navega Jovem program closes today in Santos

Today is the deadline for applications for the “Navega Jovem” program, the result of a partnership between the Santos Port Authority (APS) and the Santos Port Excellence Center Foundation. The initiative aims to train young people for the job market with a focus on the port and logistics sector.

The program offers 50 places for young people who will receive a monthly grant worth R$1,000 during the course. Financial support aims to ensure participants remain in the program and subsidize expenses related to travel to activities.

To participate in the project, you must be between 17 and 21 years old, attend the third year of high school or be studying Technical Education, preferably at a public school located in the city of Santos. In addition, it is preferable to reside in the municipality of Santos or in the Baixada Santista region and be available to participate in the program activities, which may take place in person, online or hybrid, at night.

Registration must be made using the electronic form available this link and the complete notice can be accessed this link. For the registration to be validated, the candidate must correctly fill in all the fields on the form and attach the required documents, especially proof of school enrollment.

The selection of candidates will give priority to young people in situations of social vulnerability and belonging to historically underrepresented groups, in addition to being divided into two stages of an eliminatory and classificatory nature.

The first phase consists of a thorough analysis of applications, evaluating the socio-educational profile and documentation presented by students. The 100 candidates with the best scores will advance to the second phase, and the results will be announced this Friday (27).

The second phase will be an in-person assessment on Sunday (29), at the CENEP Foundation headquarters, located at Avenida Conselheiro Rodrigues Alves, 66, in the Macuco neighborhood, in Santos. The exam will have 45 objective multiple-choice questions, in addition to an essay question. The result will be announced on April 2nd. The inaugural class is scheduled for April 6th.
