SEOUL — South Korea will launch a 25 trillion won ($16.6 billion) “wartime” supplementary budget, expand fuel tax cuts and step up efforts to secure oil and liquefied natural gas supplies, as the escalating Middle East conflict drives up energy prices and stokes inflation concerns.
