Sulnorte Serviços Marítimos officially appointed Fredric Fuerth as its new chief executive officer (CEO), reinforcing the company’s strategy of expanding its participation in the navigation and maritime services market in Brazil. The executive began his activities this week and highlighted his commitment to building a new cycle of growth for the company.
With a solid trajectory in the maritime sector, Fuerth is recognized for his work in companies linked to offshore support, port towing and business management. Before taking over Sulnorte, he held leadership positions at Asgaard Bourbon Navegação, where he participated in the development of strategies aimed at expanding operations and strengthening the maritime support fleet.

The executive also has an active participation in entities representing the segment, having been a member of the board of directors of the Brazilian Association of Maritime Support Companies (Abeam), collaborating in debates on competitiveness, fleet renewal, regulation and development of national navigation.
When announcing the start of his new professional journey, Fuerth stated that he takes on the challenge with enthusiasm and highlighted the importance of Sulnorte in the Brazilian shipping market. According to him, the objective is to work together with the team to write a new chapter in the company’s history, maintaining the focus on operational efficiency, innovation and excellence in service provision.
Sulnorte has been operating in the maritime services segment for decades, offering solutions for port operations and navigation support. The arrival of the new CEO comes at a time of positive prospects for the sector, driven by the increase in port movements, investments in infrastructure and the resumption of projects linked to the oil and gas market.
