GENMA has secured a contract from AD Ports Group to supply eight rubber-tyred gantry (RTG) cranes for the Port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates.

The order supports AD Ports Group’s expansion programme at the Fujairah terminal.

GENMA will customise the cranes to operate in the region’s high temperatures and dusty conditions. The company said the design will ensure high reliability and efficient performance in demanding operating environments.

The latest order follows the successful delivery and operation of several GENMA RTG cranes across the Middle East and Africa.

GENMA said the contract reflects customer confidence in its product quality, delivery performance and lifecycle support services.

The company also believes the project will strengthen its position in the Middle East and Africa.

In addition, GENMA expects the agreement to create new opportunities for future cooperation with AD Ports Group in the port equipment sector.
