Bringing more than 30 years of leadership experience across the transportation and global supply chain sectors, Patrick Moebel has been appointed ceo of Ceva Logistics, effective immediately.
Furniture most recently served as president of FedEx Logisticshaving also spent over 12 years with Geodis prior to that. He joins Ceva at a time where the firm is turning its attention to expanding its capabilities in the North American market, bolstering its end-to-end logistics solution offering and speeding up sustainable growth.
In his role as ceo, Moebel will work closely with Ceva’s existing leadership team while further strengthening the strategic and operational ties between the CMA CGM Group’s logistics, shipping and airfreight businesses.
Mathieu Friedberghaving served as ceo of Ceva for more than six years, has been appointed executive vice president, transformation at CMA CGM. He will oversee matters such as AI, IT and cybersecurity.
HLPFI reported recently that Ceva had opened a logistics hub in Perth, Australia, replacing its former facility in the city.
