Gadkari Reviews Progress of NHLML Projects

Union minister Nitin Gadkari reviewed the progress of multiple National Highways Logistics Management Ltd (NHLML) projects, including multi-modal logistics parks, ropeways, intermodal stations and wayside amenities across the country. The review focused on project-level execution and the issues affecting implementation.

Focus On Logistics Efficiency

Gadkari said these initiatives are important for building a future-ready transport network and strengthening multimodal connectivity. He noted that timely completion of the projects will improve logistics efficiency, reduce transportation costs and support balanced regional development.

Bottlenecks To Be Addressed

During the review meeting, the minister directed stakeholders to resolve bottlenecks on priority and speed up execution. The projects are expected to unlock new economic opportunities and improve India’s logistics competitiveness.

Strategic Infrastructure Push

The government sees these projects as part of its broader push for integrated infrastructure under the Viksit Bharat and Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision. The statement also said the projects will provide world-class infrastructure and better amenities for commuters.
