Lloyd’s table has announced higher ocean tariff rates for shipments from India and Bangladesh to Northern Europe, the Mediterranean and the Black Sea, effective for sailings from 1 August 2026.
The carrier will increase base rates by US$2,000 per container across all covered trades.
For cargo from Ennore and Colombo, the new base rates to Northern Europe will be US$4,693 for 20-foot dry containers and US$4,536 for 40-foot dry containers. Rates to the Mediterranean and Black Sea will increase to US$4,778 for 20-foot dry containers and US$4,396 for 40-foot dry containers.
For cargo from Chittagong, the new base rates to Northern Europe will rise to US$5,343 for 20-foot dry containers and US$5,036 for 40-foot dry containers. Shipments to the Mediterranean and Black Sea will increase to US$4,748 for 20-foot dry containers and US$4,646 for 40-foot dry containers.
The revised tariff levels will apply to all affected sailings commencing on or after 1 August 2026.
