Mwani Qatar handled more than 493,000 TEUs across its commercial ports during the first half of 2026, reflecting continued growth in the country’s maritime trade.
Between January and June, Hamad Port, Old Doha Port and Al Ruwais Port processed 493,105 TEUs, along with 273,325 tonnes of general cargo.

During the same period, the three ports also handled 324,512 tonnes of bulk cargo, 24,652 RoRo units and 112,492 head of livestock, while receiving 866 vessel calls.
The figures follow a strong performance in June, when the ports handled more than 78,000 TEUs, representing a 13% increase compared with May.
During the month, Mwani Qatar welcomed 121 vessels, up 21% month on month. General cargo volumes reached nearly 23,000 tonnes, while bulk cargo exceeded 67,000 tonnes, marking a 40% increase from the previous month.
Mwani Qatar continues to invest in port infrastructure and operational efficiency to strengthen Qatar’s position as a regional trade and logistics hub.
