Swire Shipping has opened its first branch office in Dili, Timor-Leste, marking a further expansion of its presence in Southeast Asia.
The company said the new office reflects its confidence in Timor-Leste’s economic potential and will enable it to provide stronger local support for customers.
The Dili office will be led by Darry Jun Hau Tan, who has been based in Timor-Leste for the past two years. He will be supported by experienced colleagues who previously worked with Swire Shipping through its agency partner, CEVA Logistics.
Swire Shipping said the new office will support businesses through its East Timor Service (ETS), helping strengthen the country’s connections to regional and global trade networks.
