Celebrity Reflection Getting 13 New Venues in Major 2027 Overhaul

Key Aspects:

  • Celebrity Reflection will undergo a major transformation beginning in late January 2027.
  • Thirteen new venues will be added, including redesigned public spaces, restaurants, bars, and entertainment concepts.
  • The overhaul brings Edge Series favorites to the Solstice-class ship while introducing two brand-new venues.

When Celebrity Cruises first announced plans to modernize its Solstice-class ships, guests expected refreshed cabins and updated public spaces. Instead, they’re getting an almost entirely new collection of spaces aboard Celebrity Reflection.

The comprehensive overhaul of the 125,366-gross-ton ship, scheduled for late January 2027, will add 13 new guest venues that span nearly every deck.

Guests will notice the changes immediately upon boarding as the ship debuts new restaurants, bars, lounges, outdoor spaces, and entertainment concepts from the line’s newer ships. It will also become the first ship in the fleet to introduce two entirely new poolside dining concepts created specifically for the renovation.

Among the biggest additions will be the Grand Plaza, a three-story gathering space inspired by the Edge Series ships. The venue will reimagine the ship’s central atrium as the heart of onboard activity.

The space will be anchored by a centrally located Martini Bar beneath a suspended chandelier that will feature choreographed light displays alongside live music and entertainment throughout the day and evening.

The pool deck will also be completely reimagined as the Celebrity Pool Club. The redesigned space will feature expanded seating, additional shade, daybeds, two dedicated bars, and new programming centered around the ship’s main pool.

Sunset Park, Celebrity Reflection

At the top of the ship, Celebrity will introduce Sunset Park, replacing the traditional deck space with a park-like venue. The area will include lawn games, meditation sessions, outdoor movies, live music, private cabanas with dedicated attendants, and the Sunset Park Café and Sunset Bar as new food and beverage options.

“Celebrity Cruises is constantly dreaming up ways to innovate and elevate what we deliver for our guests, which is what makes this fleet modernization program so much more than a refresh,” said Laura Hodges Bethge, president of Celebrity Cruises.

Celebrity Reflection becomes the second Solstice-class ship to undergo the cruise line’s fleet modernization program, following Celebrity Solstice.

Expanding the Experience

Many of Celebrity Reflection’s new venues will be carried over from newer Celebrity ships, while two concepts will debut across the fleet for the first time.

On the redesigned pool deck, Orange Peel Bar & Grille will introduce a casual poolside dining venue serving smashburgers, grilled favorites, and frozen cocktails with poolside service. Nearby, Tacos del Sol will offer build-your-own tacos with a variety of proteins and fresh toppings in an open-air setting.

Several specialty restaurants already popular elsewhere in the fleet are also joining Celebrity Reflection. Trattoria Rossa, which debuted aboard Celebrity Solstice earlier this year, will serve Roman-inspired cuisine featuring house-made pasta and tableside preparations paired with Italian-inspired cocktails and wines.

Fine Cut Steakhouse, previously available only on Edge Series ships, will make its Solstice-class debut aboard Celebrity Reflection. The restaurant will feature 30-day dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood, and an upscale steakhouse experience.

Guests will also find Bora, the Mediterranean-inspired rooftop restaurant first introduced aboard Celebrity Xcel in late 2025. During the day, Bora will serve brunch while evenings shift to a dinner menu centered on chef-prepared tableside dishes and shareable plates.

Boulevard Lounge, Celebrity Refelction

Entertainment options are expanding as well. The 125-seat Boulevard Lounge will host dueling pianos, karaoke, trivia, interactive games, and live performances throughout the day and evening. Adjacent to the venue, Boulevard Bar will offer handcrafted cocktails before and after shows.

The Parlor, another concept introduced on Celebrity Solsticecombines a sports bar with a gaming lounge. The venue will feature hundreds of board games, billiards, darts, and large-screen televisions for watching sporting events.

Beyond the new additions, Celebrity Cruises is also refreshing many familiar venues, including Café Al Bacio, Cellar Masters, the casino, art gallery, World Class Bar, pool bar, Passport Bar, the fitness center, and Camp at Sea.

Guests staying in The Retreat will have access to a redesigned Retreat Lounge and an updated sundeck featuring an oversized hot tub, while Luminae and Blu will remain exclusive dining venues for suite and AquaClass guests, respectively.

Once the transformation is complete, expected by March 2027, Celebrity Reflection will continue sailing year-round from Fort Lauderdale.

The ship’s deployment includes 3- and 4-night cruises to Key West and the Bahamas, along with 6- and 8-night itineraries visiting Aruba, Curaçao, Bonaire, Grand Cayman, and Turks & Caicos.
