Saudia Cargo and Riyadh Cargo have entered into an interline pact, as reported on 2026-07-28 by Air Cargo News. The deal is designed to give freight forwarders and logistics partners wider network reach, more routing choices, and better cargo connectivity and flexibility along major international trade lanes.

This arrangement comes after Saudia Cargo started a scheduled service connecting Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with Melbourne, Australia. It merges Saudia Cargo’s well-established cargo operations and know-how with Riyadh Cargo’s growing global network and digital-first operational approach.
The agreement will aid the further growth of Riyadh Cargo’s network beyond its existing direct flights to London, Dubai, Cairo, Jeddah, Madrid, and Malaga. It also improves links to planned destinations such as Mumbai, Kuala Lumpur, and Dhaka. Additionally, it backs Riyadh Cargo’s long-range goal of reaching over 100 worldwide destinations by 2030.
Mansour Alasmi, vice president of network and revenue at Saudia Cargo, stated that this move shows the company’s strong conviction in the value of integration and collaboration to bolster the Kingdom’s shipping and logistics framework. He explained that blending Saudia Cargo’s proven expertise and global reach with Riyadh Cargo’s forward-looking goals will deliver more comprehensive solutions to clients, easing trade. Alasmi added that this effort supports shared aims of turning the Kingdom into a top global logistics center and fostering sustainable growth for both entities.
Pravin Singh, vice president of cargo at Riyadh Air, remarked that as Riyadh Air develops a worldwide airline based in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh Cargo has a distinct goal to evolve into a contemporary, digitally driven, and dependable cargo operation serving clients in key international markets. He noted that this agreement furthers that goal by broadening its scope, creating fresh trade possibilities, and aiding in establishing Riyadh as a vital hub in the future of global logistics.
