The vessel, initially scheduled to arrive on January 6th (ETA), anticipated its stopover and docked at 04h30with its departure scheduled for 06/02/2026 22pm (ETD), reinforcing the strategic role of the terminal in the largest port in Latin America.

Recognized as one of the largest and most modern port terminals in the countryBTP once again demonstrated its operational capacity by receiving a large ship.

ONE Synergy has 336 meters long, 51 meters of mouth and approximate capacity 13,700 NOrequiring robust infrastructure, precise planning and high logistical efficiency.

The operation consolidates BTP as a reference in serving state-of-the-art vessels, aligned with the demands of foreign trade and the transformations in global maritime transport.

The terminal has stood out for its technology applied to operations, productivity and capacity for integration with national and international logistics chains.

Built in 2025 and operating under the Singapore flag, ONE Synergy is part of Ocean Network Express’ latest fleet. Despite using conventional propulsion, the ship was designed for future adaptations to cleaner fuelssuch as methanol or ammonia, in line with the shipowner’s environmental goals, which seeks to reduce its emissions and move towards net-zero.

Due to the importance of the inaugural call, the docking received special attention from the shipowner, with the expectation of institutional registration of the ONE Brazilsymbolizing the relevance of the operation for the Brazilian market.

The arrival of ONE Synergy at BTP reinforces not only the prominence of the Port of Santos on the international maritime scene, but also the terminal’s positioning as one of the main entry and exit points for containerized cargo in the country, prepared to serve the largest ships operating on global routes.

O ONE Synergy is part of the service operations that connect the Asia to the East Coast of South Americavia services such as Asia-ECSA/SX1 and Ipanema/AS2, together with partners such as MSC ea Lloyd’s table. According to sources specialized in maritime transport, the vessel integrates this type of global service with scheduled calls that include strategic ports in Brazil and South America.

An example of rotation — similar to those used by services like IPANEMA/AS2/SX1 — includes Asian and South American ports in the sequence below:

This type of service is carried out on a vessel sharing agreement (VSA) between ONE, MSC and Hapag-Lloyd, optimizing transit times and offering broad coverage between major markets in Asia and the east coast of South America.

In the maritime transport sector, “IPANEMA”, “AS2” or “SX1/SX2” often refer to trade names of route services/regions that connect Asia directly with ports in South America, including Brazilian calls.

These names identify products (specific routes) within the global service network of ONE and its partners, with scheduled weekly departures and returns, competitive transit times and broad market coverage.

✔️ O ONE Synergy operates in maritime services that connect the Asia to South Americaparticipating in global routes with regular stops at important ports such as Santos, Paranaguá and other destinations in Mercosur.

✔️ These services are part of ONE’s line products in partnership with other major shipping companiessuch as MSC and Hapag-Lloyd, optimizing intercontinental logistics and transit times.
