ANL enhances APR2 service with new Hong Kong call

ANL has strengthened its APR and APR2 services linking Asia, Papua New Guinea and Australia by adding a new call at Hong Kong.

The new connection expands ANL’s regional network, with the combined APR and APR2 services now covering 16 ports across the region.

The APR service operates on a 39-day rotation using three dedicated vessels, offering departures every 13 days. The service includes calls at Townsville and Gladstone in Australia and provides connections through the hub ports of Port Kelang and Singapore.

Meanwhile, the enhanced APR2 service offers an express link from China to Lae and Motukea (Port Moresby) in Papua New Guinea, with onward connections to Brisbane. The service operates with three dedicated vessels on a 42-day rotation, providing fortnightly sailings.

ANL said both services deploy geared vessels capable of handling breakbulk, project cargo and out-of-gauge shipments, further improving flexibility for customers trading between Asia and the Pacific.
