cargo-partner and Nippon Express advance integration in Central Europe

With modern iLogistics Centers in Bratislava and Dunajská Streda, cargo-partner Slovakia offers a total of 26,400 m² of warehouse space.

cargo-partner and Nippon Express have completed new integration milestones in Slovakia, Poland and Austria as they continue to strengthen their operations following cargo-partner’s acquisition by NX Group in January 2024.

In Slovakia, cargo-partner SR has been renamed NX Cargo-Partner Slovakia, effective 1 July 2026, while the local Nippon Express team will officially join the business from 1 August. In Poland, Nippon Express Poland has been integrated into cargo-partner Poland, with the company set to adopt the name NX Cargo-Partner Poland from 1 August.

In Austria, cargo-partner GmbH and Nippon Express’ Austrian operations have been consolidated into a single legal entity under the cargo-partner name, completing a process that began with the relocation of the NX team to cargo-partner’s Vienna Airport office in late 2025.

“Our integration into NX Group continues to progress with a clear focus on creating value for our customers, our people, and our partners,” said Luca Ferrara, CEO of cargo-partner. “The latest milestones in Austria, Poland and Slovakia demonstrate how we are bringing together local expertise, stronger teams and a broader network while ensuring continuity in day-to-day operations.”

The latest changes follow similar integration measures in Hungary and Romania earlier this year. Following the merger, the combined cargo-partner and Nippon Express network ranks fifth globally in air cargo and sixth in sea freight, according to the companies.
