Wilson takes delivery of sixth ECO newbuilding

Wilson has taken delivery of Wilson ECO VI from Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limitedcompleting its series of six 3,800 dwt eco-designed vessels.

The Wilson ECO series has been developed to improve fleet efficiency while supporting lower-emission and more sustainable short sea shipping operations.

Wilson praised Udupi Cochin Shipyard for its delivery performance, build quality and collaboration throughout the programme.

With the 3,800 dwt newbuilding series now complete, the company will shift its focus to the next stage of its fleet renewal programme, which includes the delivery of eight 6,300 dwt vessels in the coming years.
