The investment brochure for Auro Industrial City, which includes Kakinada SEZ and Kakinada Gateway Port, was unveiled in Seoul by Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Real Time Governance, and Human Resources Development, during his official visit to South Korea. The brochure showcases the integrated industrial and port-led ecosystem and promotes Andhra Pradesh as a growing destination for global manufacturing and logistics investments.
The Embassy of India in Seoul, led by Ambassador Gourangalal Das, organised a business interaction between leading Korean startups and a Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) CEO delegation. The session focused on the India–Korea business ecosystem, emerging investment opportunities, innovation-led collaboration, and ways to strengthen bilateral industrial partnerships.
At the event, Ram Reddy Ojili, Managing Director & CEO of Kakinada SEZ and Kakinada Gateway Port Limited, outlined Auro Group’s vision and investment plans for Auro Industrial City, emphasising its integrated industrial-port model. Ambassador Gourangalal Das welcomed the initiative and offered to facilitate introductions to Korean firms whose capabilities and interests match Auro Group’s strategic priorities, aiming to catalyse future investments, technology partnerships, and long-term industrial collaboration between India and South Korea.
