Evergreen Marine Corporation will launch its new China-Philippines Express (CPX) service by the end of the month, strengthening its intra-Asia network with direct links between China, Hong Kong and the Philippines, according to DynaLiners.

The weekly service will deploy three vessels of approximately 2,000 TEU and follow the rotation: Rizhao, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Cebu, Davao and back to Rizhao.

As part of the network changes, Evergreen will withdraw from the MHT service, which it currently operates jointly with Wan Hai. Wan Hai will continue operating the MHT service independently with one 1,800 TEU vessel on a fortnightly basis.

The standalone MHT rotation will remain: Hong Kong, Shenzhen (Shekou), Kaohsiung, Subic Bay, Cebu, Davao and back to Hong Kong.
