Growth of e-commerce boosts Viracopos

Disclosure / Viracopos

The accelerated advancement of international e-commerce has transformed the way global logistics has been behaving for years. Viracopos International Airport, in Campinas, has established itself as the main protagonist of this transformation in Brazil.

Amidst a scenario in which consumers demand increasingly shorter deadlines and a high level of efficiency, the Viracopos Cargo Terminal (TECA VCP) recorded an increase of approximately 31% in the volume of international express cargo. This performance reaffirms Viracopos’ position as one of the main entry points for imported goods into the country and a major international distribution center.

The Viracopos Cargo Terminal has become an essential route for the movement of electronics and high-tech devices, medicines and pharmaceutical inputs, auto parts and industrial components, as well as various types of goods destined for the end consumer. TECA VCP works as an operational ecosystem prepared to deal with products that require rigorous control, agility in processing and security at all stages of the logistics process.

The combination of modern infrastructure, a privileged location with direct access to the country’s main highways and increasingly integrated customs processes guarantees Viracopos a unique competitive advantage. The airport acts as an important integrator between large international production centers and the Brazilian supply chain, allowing the high demand from e-commerce platforms to be met efficiently.

As the digital market continues to expand its borders, TECA VCP reaffirms its ability to absorb new volumes and reinforces its role in the evolution of air logistics in Brazil.
