ABB and Oreve plan 12 new electric truck charging sites in France

ABB E-mobility and French charging operator Oreve have expanded their partnership to develop 12 new high-power charging sites along major freight corridors in France.

The expansion will add approximately 100 charging points, with a combined installed capacity of around 18 MW once the new sites are fully deployed by the end of 2028.

The project aims to support the growing use of electric trucks in road freight transport. It will also provide additional charging capacity for passenger vehicles.

Under the agreement, ABB E-mobility will supply the charging equipment, cloud-based management technology and technical support services.
