Adani Ports Agrees €2.56 Billion Deal For Europe’s Second-Largest Liquid Storage Operator
Adani Ports to acquire Evos, Europe’s second-largest independent liquid storage operator, with 8 terminals, 452 tanks and 63 berths, in a €2.56 billion deal.
Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ) will acquire the Netherlands-based liquid storage operator Evos B.V. for an enterprise value of €2.56 billion, giving it eight port-based terminals across Europe.
The company would buy a 100% stake from Igneo Infrastructure Partners in an all-cash transaction, APSEZ said.
APSEZ describes Evos as the second biggest independent player in liquid storage in Europe, with tanks holding 6.3 million cubic metres in total.
The terminals are spread over the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Belgium and Malta, with a presence in the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) cluster, Hamburg and the Mediterranean, all of them energy and industrial centres.
