The Adora Magic City has become the only large cruise ship operating out of Shanghai through the end of 2026.
The repositioning reflects a seasonal deployment pattern rather than a market exit. Royal Caribbean’s Spectrum of the Seas departed Shanghai on November 1 on a repositioning sailing to Hong Kong, where it will operate its 2026-27 winter season.
The MSC Bellissima, which had been running Shanghai departures through early October, completed a repositioning call to Tokyo on October 4 and is now based in Japan and Taiwan for the winter.
The Adora Magic City’s November sailings offer a four-night Shanghai–Jeju–Busan–Shanghai itinerary, with departures sailing on November 4, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24 and 28.
