Blue Water Shipping has positioned itself closer to Malaysia’s floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) and data centre projects with a new office in Johor Bahru.
“Singapore and Johor each bring strengths to the region’s project landscape. By connecting our teams across both locations, we can offer customers a practical balance of cost effectiveness, local presence and access to specialist expertise,” said Jason Goh, regional senior vice president at Blue Water.
“As FPSO and data centre customers expand their activities in Malaysia, we want to be close to the people making project decisions and the sites where work is taking place,” he added.
Blue Water aims to combine the local market knowledge of its Johor Bahru team with the wider organisation and the Singapore team’s specialist experience in FPSO and oil and gas logistics.
