Buss Ports and Finland’s port of Raahe signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to develop offshore wind logistics capabilities at the port.
The companies aim to position Raahe as a logistics and installation hub for future offshore wind projects in the Gulf of Bothnia, combining the port’s infrastructure plans with Buss Ports’ experience in offshore wind marshalling and terminal operations.
The agreement follows the opening of Raahe’s Deep Quay 3, which the partners highlighted as a step towards serving the offshore wind sector. They intend to work with project developers, equipment manufacturers and other stakeholders to support offshore wind development in the region.
