Carnival Freedom Makes Maiden Call to Valletta

The Carnival Freedom recently made its maiden visit to the Valletta Cruise Port, according to a social media update.

Offering an eight-night cruise to the Western Mediterranean, the Carnival Cruise Line vessel arrived in Malta for the first time on Oct. 15, 2026.

A special welcome ceremony was held onboard to mark the maiden call, with local authorities and port officials joining the vessel’s team for a plaque and gift exchange.

“The call showcased Malta’s enduring appeal as a Mediterranean cruise destination, renowned for its rich history, cultural heritage and unique island experiences,” Valletta Cruise Port said.
