DHL Global Forwarding revenue jumps as ocean freight volumes rise

DHL Group reported higher revenue and operating profit in the third quarter of 2026, supported by growth in international freight forwarding, express deliveries and contract logistics.

Group revenue increased by 12.6% to €22.7 billion, compared with €20.1 billion in the same period last year. Operating profit (EBIT) rose by 16.2% to €1.7 billion, while the EBIT margin improved to 7.6% from 7.3%.

Net profit attributable to shareholders reached €907 million, up from €840 million a year earlier.

The results reflected stronger freight activity across several markets, particularly on trade lanes originating in Asia.
