Dublin Port Company (DPC) has launched a tender for a €250m framework agreement covering civil engineering works at Dublin Port, Ireland.
The six-year, multi-party framework will cover quay wall construction and refurbishment, dredging, new Ro-Ro ramps and jetties, berth redevelopment, internal roads and bridges, and port electrification infrastructure. It also includes the supply and installation of cargo-handling equipment, including cranes, conveyors and loading arms.
The works will support several major development projects, including the Alexandra Basin Redevelopment, MP2 and 3FM. Quay walls will be designed to accommodate future dredging to 15 metres below chart datum.
The framework forms part of Dublin Port’s Masterplan 2040, which aims to increase capacity and accommodate future freight growth. Its main development programmes focus on upgrading existing quay infrastructure, expanding Ro-Ro and container-handling facilities, and creating additional capacity on the Poolbeg Peninsula.
