Ellerman City Liners has integrated Viasea Shipping into its European shortsea operations, bringing the two companies under a unified operational framework.
The move follows Ellerman’s acquisition of the Norwegian shortsea operator from ColliCare Holding in November 2025. Since then, the companies have worked to align their operations, schedules and customer services.
The combined network connects the United Kingdom, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland and Lithuania with other European markets. It is supported by rail, road and inland transport services across Northern Europe.
Ellerman said customers will gain access to coordinated schedules, aligned operating systems and a wider range of multimodal transport options through a single provider.
