Equinor exercises one year option for Havila Shipping PSV pair

Norway-based and Oslo-listed offshore specialist Havila Shipping ASA has secured one-year contract extension for two of its platform supply vessels (PSVs) with Norway’s oil major Equinor Energy AS.

Equinor Energy AS has exercised one year option for the PSV vessels Havila Charisma and Havila Foresight, as Havila Shipping announced in a stock exchange filling.

Following this contract extension of the two PSV’s, Havila Charisma has contract until 16 December 2027 and the Havila Foresight until 1 January 2028.

The Havila Charisma is a 2012-built PSV of Havyard 833 L design, while the Havila Foresight is a 2007-built PSV of MT 6010 MK II design, both sailing under the Norwegian flag.
