Ernst Russ sells 803 TEU containership

Ernst Russ AG has agreed to sell the 803 TEU containership Mirror, with delivery to its new owner scheduled for January 2027.

The Hamburg-based shipowner did not disclose the sale price or identify the buyer. As the handover will take place next year, the transaction will not affect the company’s assets, financial position or earnings for the 2026 financial year.

The vessel was built in 2007. Its sale follows Ernst Russ’ disposal of the containerships EF Emira and EF Emma earlier in 2026.

During the same period, the company expanded its exposure to multipurpose vessels and product and chemical tankers. Its latest fleet addition was the newbuild tanker Farrie Russ, which was delivered on 27 October 2026.
