GeoMarineHub, the Dubai-based ship-supply marketplace, today opened two changes to how vessels buy stores and how buyers check suppliers.

Email the requisition as it is. Masters, chief engineers and purchasing officers can now forward a requisition to [email protected] in the form it already has: an Excel sheet, a Word table, a PDF or a scanned list. The platform reads every line, matches it to its IMPA code where one exists, and sends back a receipt that lists what it read: the vessel, the port, the ETA and each line. Nobody has to retype anything or open an account. Once the buyer confirms the receipt, the request goes to the verified suppliers at that port, who bid sealed, line by line.

A public “Verified on GeoMarineHub” badge. Every supplier on the platform passes a company check before it can bid: the trade licence, the ownership, and the bank details the platform pays to. Verified suppliers now have a public verification page, and a badge they can place on their website, email signature and quotations. A buyer who has never dealt with a chandler can see in one click that the company’s documents were checked, which ports it serves, and what it supplies. The badge stays live only while the verification is current.
