Geotab Links Fleet Card to Vehicle Data

The new card combines fuel discounts with telematics-based purchase controls. Geotab’s analysis also points to potential savings from choosing lower-priced fuel stops.

Geotab has launched a fleet payment card that uses vehicle data to help block unauthorized fuel purchases and gives drivers access to fuel discounts and nearby price information.

The Geotab Fleet Card, developed with transportation payments company AtoB, is available to eligible U.S. fleets. It connects AtoB’s payment platform and fuel discount network with Geotab’s telematics system.

The card stays locked until a driver unlocks it through the Geotab Drive app while the vehicle is parked at the merchant location.
