GT LINES, the container shipping division of Gulftainer Group, has expanded cooperation with leading Chinese shipping companies to reinforce supply chain continuity and connectivity between Asia and the Middle East.
The partnerships bring UAE and Chinese operators together around the shared aim of building more reliable, efficient and connected trade routes serving businesses, consumers and regional economies.
The first element is the upgraded Khorfakkan China Express Service, KCX 1. GT LINES will deploy two vessels under a Vessel Sharing Agreement with three Chinese carriers, Zhong Gu, Sea Legend and Ningbo Ocean, forming an expanded consortium of five vessels.
The service will call at Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Nansha and Khorfakkan, with transit times of 22 days from Central China and 18 days from South China to Khorfakkan.
