Hapag-Lloyd has announced temporary restrictions on export container deliveries at APM Terminals Valencia due to ongoing congestion at the Spanish terminal.
Effective immediately, the export container acceptance window has been reduced from 14 days to nine days before a vessel’s estimated time of arrival.
Under the temporary arrangement, APMT Valencia will only accept export containers during the nine-day window. Containers delivered earlier may be rejected, potentially leading to delays and additional transport or storage costs.
Hapag-Lloyd has advised customers and hauliers to check the relevant vessel gate opening dates before arranging deliveries to the terminal.
