Hapag-Lloyd has announced two standalone container shipping services connecting Asia with Latin America, as the German carrier prepares to expand its network in 2027.
The new AMX and ASX services will provide connections to Mexico and the East Coast of South America, respectively. Both will operate independently under Hapag-Lloyd’s network.
According to the carrier, the changes aim to improve regional connectivity and provide customers with additional routing options.
The AMX service is scheduled to begin in January 2027, while ASX will follow in April.
