Hellmann opens three new branches to expand US logistics network
The new sites in Indianapolis, Columbus and the San Francisco Bay Area will serve the automotive, fashion, technology and other industries.
Hellmann Worldwide Logistics has opened three new branches in the United States, expanding its network to 12 locations across the country. The new sites in Indianapolis, the Columbus metropolitan area and the San Francisco Bay Area will strengthen its logistics services for the automotive, fashion, technology and other industries.
The expansion is part of Hellmann’s Forward2030 strategy, which focuses on selected industries and markets with high growth potential. The company said the new locations would bring it closer to customers and strengthen its industry-specific logistics services.
The Indianapolis branch is already operational and will serve tier 1 and tier 2 automotive suppliers. It will offer international sea freight, air freight and domestic road transport services. The Columbus office in Ohio will focus on the fashion and retail sectors, while the new location near San Francisco International Airport will serve customers in technology, semiconductors, electronics, cloud infrastructure and renewable energy.
The three branches will support Hellmann’s road, air and sea freight services in key US markets. US business logistics costs reached approximately $2.4 trillion in 2025, accounting for around 7.8% of the country’s gross domestic product (GDP).
