Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd (APSEZ), India’s largest integrated ports and logistics company, has established a subsidiary in Oman as part of its strategy to expand its international presence and strengthen its position as a global integrated transport operator.
Named Indian Ocean Gateway Terminal, the new entity was incorporated in Oman on October 21, according to a disclosure filed by APSEZ with the National Stock Exchange of India.
The new entity has been established to conduct APSEZ’s offshore operations locally, the disclosure said.
Indian Ocean Gateway Terminal is wholly owned by Adani International Ports Holdings Pte Ltd, itself a wholly owned subsidiary of APSEZ, making the Omani entity a step-down subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd.
