Houston-based Jetco, a GTI Group company, has launched a specialised cargo division, a culmination of a multi-year investment. “Three years ago, we started positioning ourselves to capitalise on the accelerated growth of domestic power, manufacturing, and infrastructure, specifically data centres, led by the Super Intelligence industry, in the Gulf Coast,” said Jetco president Kyle Kristynik.
He added that the division brings together a team and specialised trailers to meet client demand. Nelva Martin is the director of business development, and he will be backed by Maurice Martens, director of specialised cargo, Bob Grube, asset manager, Cesar Moreno, logistics manager, Baileigh Brooke, specialised cargo coordinator, and specialised cargo project managers Wesley Bennet Tay, Christopher Tubbs and Roberto Triolo.
Jetco’s new division aims to manage complex transport of oversize, overweight, and over-dimensional cargo. In addition to its pool of trucks and trailers, Jetco invested in new equipment from Faymonville, Goldhofer and Fontaine Specialized.
Furthermore, Jetco said it aims to collaborate with its sister companies, Canada-based Precision Specialized and Scot Woods Transport, to meet the demand for specialised, heavy haul and out-of-gauge moves.
