Kalmar reported a 22% increase in orders received during the third quarter of 2026, reaching €458 million compared with €375 million a year earlier. The growth came mainly from its Equipment segment, supported by improving demand in North America.
The company’s order book stood at €1.004 billion at the end of September, compared with €977 million at the end of 2025. However, quarterly sales declined slightly to €433 million, from €436 million in the corresponding period last year.
Comparable operating profit decreased by 6% to €56.4 million, while the comparable operating margin fell to 13.0% from 13.8%. Reported operating profit reached €52 million, compared with €60.7 million a year earlier.
Despite lower profitability, cash generation improved significantly. Cash flow from operations before finance items and taxes reached €81.6 million, up from €25.6 million in the third quarter of 2025.
