Knowles Logistics grows trailer fleet to 253 with first SDC order

Knowles Logistics has added 15 curtain-sided trailers from SDC to its fleet in its first order with the UK and Ireland semi-trailer manufacturer. This will bring Knowles’s trailer fleet to 253 units, supporting a nationwide operation of around 130 tractor units.

The investment follows continued growth across the business, including new customer contracts, and reflects the company’s strategy of continually modernizing its fleet.

Knowles Logistics CEO Alex Knowles said the decision to work with SDC was driven by the manufacturer’s collaborative approach and the quality of its product: “This was our first order with SDC and the whole process has been incredibly positive.
