The first unit, a 450-tonne LTM 1450-8.1, will be based at Schmidbauer Group‘s head office in Gräfelfing, near Munich. The remaining 16 cranes are to be delivered in stages and distributed across various sites within the group.
In addition to the LTM 1450-8.1, Schmidbauer has ordered further mobile cranes, LTR telescopic crawler cranes, LTC 1050-3.1 compact cranes, telescopic truck-mounted cranes, plus an MK 120-5.1E mobile construction crane.
The order is part of a wider fleet modernisation, through which Schmidbauer aims to further strengthen its capabilities across industrial, energy and infrastructure projects.
