Lumacon Accolade Group said that Tarmac Marine's trailing suction hopper dredger (TSHD) City of London recently visited UK Docks for the inspection, cleaning and overhaul of a 660V–415V transformer.
The work involved a thorough inspection of the transformer and associated components, followed by cleaning and maintenance to ensure the equipment remains in safe and reliable operating condition.
The oldest in the Tarmac's fleet – the City of London – has been operational since 1989. So far, the City of London has landed more than 28 million tons of material. It operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, according to Tarmac.
Lumacon Accolade Group collaborates with UK Docks Marine Services to provide specialized marine electrical, transformer overhaul, and refit engineering for commercial and leisure vessels.
