Maersk will change how it calculates inland charges for selected import shipments across 15 European countries.

The new Price Calculation Date (PCD) logic will apply to import shipments created from 1 January 2027.

The change covers Bills of Lading booked with a CY move where customers add destination last-mile delivery later through an import shipment.

Under the current system, Maersk calculates inland charges using the Ocean Booking PCD. This includes fuel-related charges.
