Neptune Pacific has transported Tuvalu’s first commercial export since 2002, helping a local skincare producer reach the New Zealand market.
The shipment comprised 2,102 units of Fenua Ola skincare products made from extra-virgin coconut oil. It departed Funafuti for Auckland in June 2026.
Neptune Pacific provided the freight service free of charge to mark the milestone. The carrier also helped the six-person Fenua Ola team prepare the cargo and complete the necessary export documentation.
Fenua Ola was developed through efforts to revive Tuvalu’s coconut industry. The initiative forms part of the Tuvalu Coconut Rehabilitation Programme, led by the Government of Tuvalu with financial support from the European Union.
