Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has announced the launch of its new Far East–Chennai Service (FCS4), strengthening container shipping connectivity between Malaysia and the east coast of India.
The service is scheduled to begin on 22 November 2026 and will provide direct connections between Port Kelang in Malaysia and the Indian ports of Visakhapatnam (Vizag) and Chennai.
According to OOCL, the new service will offer additional routing options for cargo moving between the two markets. It is also designed to improve connectivity and provide greater flexibility for shippers.
Through these direct port calls, OOCL aims to strengthen its regional network and support cargo movements between Malaysia and eastern India.
