Patrick Terminals has launched Patrick Connect, a new mobile application designed to provide truck drivers with real-time information and operational guidance during visits to its container terminals in Australia.
The app provides step-by-step instructions throughout the terminal visit, including lane assignments and access to compliance information such as weigh-in-motion (WIM) results. It also allows terminal operations teams to send safety notifications and operational updates directly to drivers.
According to Patrick Terminals, the platform aims to improve communication between drivers and terminal staff while reducing the need for in-person interactions. Drivers can access relevant information digitally as they move through different stages of the terminal process.
Patrick Connect has completed a trial at Patrick Terminals’ Sydney AutoStrad facility and is now ready for rollout to transport operators. The company plans to onboard additional users over the coming months.
