Philippine Airlines selects IBS Software’s iCargo for cargo modernisation
The cloud-based platform will bring cargo sales, ground handling and revenue accounting together, with shipment visibility and data analytics among its capabilities.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) has selected IBS Software’s iCargo platform to replace its existing cargo system and modernise its domestic and international cargo operations.
The cloud-based platform brings together cargo sales, ground handling operations and revenue accounting. It will support PAL’s cargo business across commercial operations, ground handling and back-office accounting through a single integrated system.
The platform will also support international requirements, including customs reporting, duties and tax settlement, and regulatory compliance.
The transition is expected to address operational requirements such as system performance and data analytics. iCargo will support faster shipment processing, greater reliability and end-to-end shipment visibility, while reducing manual work and improving processes.
