PSA Singapore has entered into a strategic collaboration with technology company Cisco to develop an AI-powered platform for monitoring and managing the IT infrastructure supporting operations at Tuas Port, PSA’s automated container terminal in western Singapore.

According to PSA, the companies will work together on developing a proof of concept for an AI-powered observability and incident management platform at Tuas Port. The collaboration is said to be part of Cisco’s Country Digital Acceleration programme, through which Cisco partners with the public and private sector to advance national digitalisation priorities and support Singapore’s digital agenda.

The system is designed to help PSA detect problems across the applications, networks and infrastructure that support terminal operations, including the Terminal Operating System (TOS), which controls container movements, tracking and storage of cargo. By bringing real-time performance data from these systems into a single view, the platform is intended to help technical teams identify faults, trace their causes and resolve them before they lead to operational outages. The platform will initially be tested at Tuas Port’s Phase 2 Living Lab. Designed as a real-world testbed, the facility began ecosystem trials in the second quarter and is expected to become fully operational by Q4 2026.
