Rhenus has signed a ten-year agreement with the Dutch Ministry of Defence to support military logistics operations in the Netherlands. The partnership focuses on the Soesterberg Logistics Centre (LCS), which supplies materials and equipment to the country’s armed forces.

Under the agreement, Rhenus will support warehouse operations and help improve supply chain processes. The partnership aims to strengthen logistics reliability and support military training, exercises and deployments.

The logistics centre forms part of the Materieellogistiek Commando. It is also part of the new Soesterberg Army Base, where four separate barracks are being combined into one facility.

Rhenus will contribute its experience in warehousing, supply chain management and logistics optimisation. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defence will provide its knowledge of military operations and requirements.
