Sarens Kazakhstan and Qazag Green have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at supporting the development of renewable energy projects in Kazakhstan.

The MoU will look to leverage Sarens Kazakhstan’s engineering and logistics capabilities and Qazaq Green’s experience of wind and solar energy projects and the development of sustainable energy infrastructure. Emphasis will be placed on the engineering and logistics solutions required for the construction of such renewable energy facilities.

Furthermore, the deal covers the exchange of information on prospective projects, facilitation of business contacts among market participants, engagement with investors, developers, equipment manufacturers and EPC contactors, as well as exploration of opportunities for joint initiatives.

“The development of renewable energy requires not only investment and the adoption of advanced technologies, but also the establishment of efficient infrastructure to support project implementation,” explained Ainur Sospanova, chairperson of the board of Qazaq Green. “Cooperation with Sarens Kazakhstan will enable us to expand engagement with companies possessing specialised engineering and logistics expertise and will help strengthen connections among participants in the renewable energy market.”
